CONTEMPORARY, MODERN & CYCLADIC ART

CONTEMPORARY

George, Florence and Stanley are all original designs inspired by sculptures of the Cycladic Civilisation which flourished in the Aegean Sea between 3300 BC and 2000 BC.
The figures, although 4-5000 years old, could be mistaken for today's modern art.
They were designed and commissioned after seeing an exhibition
of Greek and Cycladic art at the British Museum.
The Pod, Vortex, Viewpoint, Sunburst and Celtic Stone are all original designs inspired by the works of Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), a contemporary of Henry Moore.
They were designed and commissioned after seeing her work at Tate Modern and her St. Ives' home.
