LUCAS STONE
is hand-made by skilled British craftsmen using local reconstituted stone and traditional methods. They have been made in this way for over 56 years by the same family. The hardiness of their construction enables outdoor display whatever the conditions.
Most of the pictures on this website show our unique Aged Cotswold Stone finish. We can also supply any piece in our unique Burnt Umber finish which replicates the look of old burnished bronze (Certain pieces such as Aphrodite, dark Chess Pieces & Art of Stone are only supplied in the finishes stated on their respective pages).
The weathered appearance of Aged Cotswold Stone and the patina of Burnt Umber highlight detail from a distance, while the individual nature of each finish gives every design its own unique character.
